Insurance

 Bulahdelah Dressage Club is affilliated with the EFA, now known as Equestrian Australia or EA. Our club insurance is through EA and is with AON.

This means for you - as a member

  • Public and Product Liability. This policy covers your legal liability arising from your club, members, and voluntary workers alleged negligence for accidents causing bodily injury (including death) to, or damage to property or, third parties such as participants, property owners, spectators and non-members who might take legal action against you.  For more information go to www.efanational.com/default.asp?id=399

 

  • Associations Liability. This policy covers the club and its members for any Wrongful Act committed in the capacity or Office Bearer including the rendering of professional duties. The personal assets of club officials can be put at risk if this cover does not exist.

    Wrongful Act means any error, mis-statement, misleading statement, act, omission, neglect or breach of duty.

    The Employment Practices Liability extension protects the club and its members from claims arising from events such as sexual harassment, unfair dismissal and racial discrimination.

    The Libel and Slander extension protects the club and its members from claims arising from events such as defamation and libel & slander which can result from the publishing of a club or association newsletter, press releases, articles etc. For more information go to www.efanational.com/default.asp?id=396

 

 

 It must be noted that member/riders are NOT covered under club insurance for Personal Accident - this is covered for EA members only under their own EA Insurance/Membership
